The J2I Foundation is a Social Development Agent whose focus is to create and promote self-sustaining households and communities in South Africa. We do this through various youth-directed interventions that are designed to facilitate transformation in young individuals, households and communities. Our step-by-step process begins with the identification of specific needs in individuals/households and or communities.

From there we develop innovative solutions that are then transferred to the beneficiaries through training, skills development, funding (financial assistance, food, school fees etc), and on-going mentorship. We believe that poverty, hunger and the need to survive are the main drivers of crime and most social ills, including drug abuse, teenage pregnancies and the uncontrolled spread of HIV and AIDS in local communities and the work of the J2I Foundation is critical in eliminating these causative factors of crime.

In order to achieve our mandate, we rely on the kindness of various organisations and individuals, both local and international, for funding and other donations which are channeled into the work we do.
